Robot Cut & Reline Repair on a New Home in Ripley

Description:

We were called out to a new home in Ripley to repair a sewer pipe smashed by a high tensile screw pier, located under a bedroom wall. The sewer for the full house was blocked and one side of the smashed section was completely full!

We used robotic cutting methods to breakdown the PVC, rocks and debris, then a vacuum to clean and clear out the pipes, ready to repair. This was followed by a wash and reline to completely repair the broken sewer pipe – all without excavation!

Challenges:

The steel screw pier’s boring head smashed over 50% of the sewer pipe in the vicinity of the pier, so we had to keep as much existing pipe in use to guarantee the newly relined pipe had good grade (ability to flow) after all the hitting was done.
