We discovered a 100mm PVC sewer pipe that was broken in two places. This was down a toilet drain that ran under a tiled bathroom floor. To avoid the need to remove the tiles and flooring to access the pipe, the team opted for a patch repair.

Challenges:
For this job we removed the toilet suite so that we could access the damage. We cleaned the roots out of the PVC pipes with a Picote machine and sanded the pipe, ready for liner installation.
Next, 1.2m of resin-infused woven liner was inserted and left to set for nearly 2 hours.
We re-installed the toilet suite, tested, sealed and cleaned up.
