Robotic cutting is among the most advanced equipment used in sewer rehabilitation. These unique tools are designed to cut, grind and/or drill out blockages and debris from a wide range of drainage situations. At emu, we have a range of robotic machines that can go into most drains to help repair almost any job that comes our way!
Let us introduce you to our team of robotic cutting tools.
Why we love the Climbolino®E electric milling robot
-
-
It’s battery operated and has a very small electric compressor! We can work in locations that weren’t possible before, due to no petrol motors being required (minimising air and noise pollution!).
-
It’s very portable. Now we can take it onto roofs, and other hard to access areas.
-
It’s designed specifically for sewer rehabilitation! It’s incredibly strong and used for some of the toughest jobs in pipe relining, which is where our team works best.
-
Why we love the Dancutter
-
-
It’s extremely flexible! This cutter can move through 90degree bends in 100mm pipes, working effortlessly through blockages in the pipes.
- It’s robust and reliable – this is our day to day cutter that handles most jobs.
-
Why we love the IMS NANO Robotic Cutter
-
-
This is our most nimble cutter with the smallest cutting head. It’s great for all those drains that have difficult to navigate offsets.
- Enhanced efficiency! Using the IMS Robotic Cutter we’re able to streamline the entire process of pipe relining.
-
Benefits of a Robotic Cutter
When we use the robotic cutter, we are able to cut through and clear out the toughest obstacles while minimising the damage to the host pipes.
Robotic cutters consist of a flexible hose with drilling head and high definition camera. These incredibly powerful and specialised tools can manoeuvre to the damaged area in the drain, via an access point without excavation.
How Emu Uses Robotic Cutting
We’ve helped a lot of our clients repair their sewer & stormwater drains with robotic cutting. Check out some of our case studies below.
We completed a robot grind and reline repair job on an extremely damaged sewer pipe located under the floor of a bar.
We used robotic cutting and patch pipe relining to repair a squashed PVC stormwater pipe underneath a concrete carpark.
